UK Poison Rules – New updated Safety Data Sheets required

6 December 2019

Any company selling e-liquids and short-fills in the UK must notify the National Poisons Information Service (NPIS) about their products and provide NEW updated Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

In December 2018, there was a change to Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) for nicotine. The information contained in the data sheets altered too. If your company has sheets that pre-dates December 2018, new ones are required.

To comply, companies must send a list of their products and SDS for each SKU to the NPIS at [email protected].

If you have questions about this or would like to request new data sheets please call us today on +44 (0)1302 986 088 or email [email protected]. We would forward to working with you.
