Description
HPHC, or Harmful and Potentially Harmful Constituent, testing is a test used to gather scientific
data to determine the level of HPHCs in the emissions of Electronic Nicotine Delivery System
(ENDS) products.
ADACT measures 27 HPHCs and four elemental compounds in the emissions, per ten
puffs at both High Vaping Intensity and Low Vaping Intensity (wattage). The test is repeated seven
times to ensure consistency and accuracy of results for the FDA.
Completing HPHC testing will help to prevent a refuse to file letter from Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) and bolster future Premarket Tobacco Product Application (PMTA)
submissions.
Many companies skipped HPHC testing for their TFN (tobacco-free nicotine / synthetic nicotine)
submissions, but as we move into review you will need this testing to pass the FDA’s enhanced
scrutiny.
As more PMTAs come out of appeal and back into review, testing capacity is filling up fast. Secure
your affordable HPHC testing at our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited testing laboratory in Europe.
