Description
TPD emissions testing for e-liquids
Our TPD emissions testing for e-liquids identifies any potential harmful compounds or intermediate degradants, which could be the result of vaporisation, and maybe present in your product.
How our lab conducts emissions testing
Our testing process includes vaporisation of the e-liquid. The vapour is captured and screened against a list of notifiable and/or undesirable compounds that include formaldehydes, carbonyls and volatile organic solvents.
We strive to use the latest scientific thinking, methods and instruments, to ensure you obtain the most reliable and accurate results that you can trust.
TPD registration service for e-liquids
TPD registration is required for sales of e-liquids and devices in the UK. Producers of e-cigarettes and nicotine containing e-liquids must submit information about their products to the MHRA under TPD* legislation if they wish to sell in the UK. (*now known as Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 (TRPR)
