Terpenes potentially work in synergy with cannabinoids and other cannabis plant compounds to affect the potency of CBD, and other cannabinoids, without increasing the dose. They may also produce ‘the entourage’ effect. There can be more than 400 terpenes in a cannabis plant, dependent on the cannabis species.
